As the largest obstetrical facility in the state of Rhode and the eleventh largest stand-alone obstetrical service in the country, Women & Infants each year delivers nearly 8,400 babies and cares for 1,200 newborns in our Special Care Nursery - the only newborn intensive care unit in the region.

Assistant Nurse ManagerLDR (Labor & Delivery)
The Assistant Nurse Manager has the authority, responsibility and accountability for the nursing administration of a patient care area, for an assigned shift. This individual will pay particular attention to the continuity and quality of care under the direction of the Nurse Manager. This person must demonstrate initiative and share responsibility with the management team in meeting the goals for patient care in a designated clinical area. This person will promote and support team unity and collaboration.
Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) or proof of academic achievement towards B.S.N. degree required; Master’s Degree preferred. Critical Care experience preferred Labor and Deliver experience required. Current licensure with the State of Rhode Island as a registered nurse required. 3-5 years leadership experience recommended.
