Proficiency in assessing and caring for patients.
Documents, implements and updates plans of care.
Collaborates with all members of the healthcare team to implement and evaluate a patient’s status and treatment plan.

Interact with patient and significant others, while maintain the standard of professional nursing.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Will have a minimum of 1 year related experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
RN License in the State of Colorado, or compact license.
BLS, ACLS and NRP certifications
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Experience: One (1) year previous acute care experience preferred.
Licenses: R.N. licensed in the State of Colorado, or compact license.

The Gunnison Valley Health Senior Care Center is the only long-term residential care facility in Gunnison County. T...he scope of business can be separated into three general areas: skilled nursing care, Alzheimer’s/Dementia Care (or the “Special Care Unit”), and Home Medical Services. Rehabilitation services are also offered at the Senior Care Center which include both occupational and physical therapy. GVH Assisted Living accommodates 15 residential suites to serve individuals age 55 and older with a keen recognition of each individual's privacy.
