Position Overview: Principle duties consists of assisting physicians in monitoring, collecting, and processing radiological and physiological data during diagnostic and interventional examinations and studies such as both coronary and peripheral diagnostic angiograms, PCI�s (Percutaneous Coronary Interventions), PTA�s (Percutaneous Transluminal Angioplasty). Monitors patients hemodynamically per department protocols and initiates appropriate interventions when indicated. Assessed patients before, during, and post-procedure, and documents accordingly. Prepares and educates patients and families prior to discharge. Qualifications: Position Qualifications: CA RN license BLS ACLS Must have taken Dysrhythmia course and have an annual competency. If not, must be taken within 6 months of start date. 2+ years of Cath Lab/IR experience.
