The Opportunity The Staff Nurse plays an important role in the care of our patients using evidence-based guidelines and organizational policies and procedures to provide high-quality, cost-effective healthcare.
Participate in unit shared governance according to departmental standards
Delegate patient care activities as appropriate
Evaluate delegated activities for expected patient care outcomes
Consistently assess patients to collect data and identify learning needs according to established standards and policies
What you will bring
Demonstrate clinical nursing knowledge and skill in the specialization of the unit
Develop a care plan based on each individual in accordance with established standards
Continually evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan and makes revisions and recommendations based on the analysis of the patient response
Participate in QI, CPI and risk management activities at the unit, department or organizational level
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current licensure as a registered nurse by the Maryland Board of Nursing
CPR – American Heart Association Healthcare Provider certification
NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation required within one (1) year of hire for the Neonatal Unit
