Swedish Health Services is in search of a Regional Director of Women’s Health. Swedish is the largest nonprofit health care provider in the greater Seattle area with five hospital campuses. The system encompasses 1,571 licensed beds; 12,961 employees; and 3,867 physicians and allied health professionals. In 2016, it logged 11,416 births.
Swedish is affiliated with Providence St. Joseph Health, one of the nation’s largest healthcare providers. With more than 119,000 employees, Providence St. Joseph Health operates 51 hospitals and 829 physician clinics in seven states and has annual revenues of $25B and growing.
The Regional Director of Women’s Health will report to the Chief Nursing Officer of the flagship First Hill Campus, and will provide operational oversight for women’s health services, which is offered on four of the system’s five hospital campuses.
The Regional Director for Women's Health is a key member and active participant with Senior Leadership striving to achieve an integrated health care system that provides the highest quality health care in a fiscally accountable manner.
The ideal candidate will have:
BSN and Master’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or Business Administration.
Minimum 5 years’ experience of proven leadership in developing, managing, and operating high performing obstetrics services, preferably in multi-institutional Women’s Health Services.
Experience working in a unionized environment.
Ability to become licensed in the state of Washington.
