Works with Nursing Director, Clinical Excellence and Informatics and Director of Quality and Risk to provide administrative support for departments such as clinical education, house supervision, risk and quality, infection control and float pool.
High School or Equivalent Required. Bachelor preferred.
Has or can obtain working knowledge of Kronos; Ability to become proficient in Healthstream (.EDU system); Typing at 45+ wpm, transcription, and word processing/computer knowledge; Demonstrated effective communication skills; Three to five years of progressively responsible secretarial experience, preferably in a healthcare setting; Ability to be flexible with hours and to work under pressure; Excellent judgment and the ability to anticipate issues likely to occur; Must be customer and service focused while supporting a professional environment that minimizes distractions; Advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and Outlook is required; Ability to interact on the Internet, work in a fast-paced multi-tasked environment, demonstrate attention to detail, and coordinate the needs of several staff at a time is required.
