Role Aspects: Leadership of strategic planning, fiscal planning and oversight, program development, operations, quality, risk, and staff development within a mentoring/coaching matrix and includes assessing opportunities for evidence-based QA/PI to Increase physician satisfaction and employee engagement.
Scope: In-hospital L&D, High-risk OB, Postpartum/Mother-Baby, Birth Care Suites (freestanding facility, 20 LDRPs), 85-bed Level II, III, IV NICU, Special Care Nursery, Lactation Services, 7 direct report managers, 440 staff.
Ideal Candidate Profile – Background Requirements
Director-level experience in maternal/child services
Clinical background in L&D/OB or Neonatal Intensive Care: If L&D/OB, experience at volumes of 200 deliveries/month (2,400/yearly). If NICU, experience at a Level III or Level IV NICU
Servant leader to the patient experience, putting the patient first
Highly collaborative across the stakeholder continuum
Master’s degree achieved or currently in progress in Nursing, Business, Healthcare, or related field
Magnet facility experience and shared-governance experience preferred
For-profit experience helpful
