The Nurse Manager is a leader within the health system who demonstrates proficiency in all quality leadership skills. The Nurse Manager expertly manages the care of a patient population and practices expert critical thinking skills when in the clinical setting. The Nurse Manager assumes 24-hour responsibility for a patient care unit and acts as liaison between patients, team members, physicians, other customers, and administration.
Requirements include a Florida RN license and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (or Bachelor's degree in process to be completed within 36 months). Also requires three years of nursing and one year of leadership experience. Master’s degree, Nurse Specialist and five years of experience in labor & delivery preferred.
