Assists with the preparation, facilitation and instruction of American Heart Association (AHA) courses within the AHA Training Center in accordance with the AHA Program Administration Manual (PAM) and Nemours policies. Assists with AHA Training Center program growth and development and ensures adequate educational delivery of current Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) science in all courses. Serves as a resource for internal and external AHA instructors.
Assists the AHA Training Center Program Coordinator by facilitating AHA course offerings through recruitment and education of instructors, preparation of course materials, course set up and break down, and review of course evaluations.

Maintains professional practice knowledge base, including departmental and organizational policies, standards of care. Utilizes skilled oral, written, and electronic communication to communicate effectively and to foster collegial relationships both intra- and interdepartmentally. Models professional behaviors including involvement in professional organizations, engagement in lifelong learning activities and dissemination of information through publications and presentations.
Maintains and utilizes resources and equipment within the Department to assess, support, and advance clinical practice. Integrates ethical principles into all aspects of practice. Demonstrates clinical and cultural competence in the care of patients of all ages; neonates, children, adolescents and adults.
