- Monitor and time contractions during labor and delivery
- Administer pain management and other medications
- Assist the doctor with labor inducing
- Monitor vital signs of mother and heart rate of baby
- Monitor for potentially dangerous complications
- Communicate with medical team timely and accurately
- Prepare for cesarean delivery and emergency situations
Qualifications:
- 1+ years' experience in L&D
- State of MD RN License or Compact License in good standing
- AHA BLS and NRP
- Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring
