Flourishing Begins Here: Qualified external applicants with at least six months of direct RN experience are eligible for up to a $15,000 sign-on bonus! The bonus will be taxed per IRS regulations. As a Nurse you will assume responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient. You will promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act, and demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
What You Bring/Job Requirements:
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: Education Requirements
- Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs
- One year experience preferred
- Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
- NICU Experience preferred, 2 years of Level 2 or higher NICU
- Attending deliveries for newborn and postpartum experience preferred
- Experience working with ventilated neonates
- RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
- BLS from the American Heart Association required within 8 weeks
- NRP required within 6 months of hire or transfer
- Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
SCHEDULE: 7- 7:30 Nights and Days, 3 x 12 hour shifts per week. No mandatory call required. Every 3rd weekend on assigned weekend rotation. One summer and one winter holiday.
