Employment Type: Full timeShift: Night ShiftDescription: 72 hrs/pp. 6:00PM - 6:30AM; every 3rd weekend/holiday rotationThe Birth Center has three diverse units that work together as a cohesive service line. The staff is comprised of nurses and OB techs (CNAs). Be part of a goal and team-oriented unit that continually back each other up and support the different departments within the service line. Schedules for all positions are considered "cooperative scheduling." This is self-scheduling that is finalized by a staffing guidelines committee prior to distribution of the schedule. E-shifts are required in lieu of taking call; the total number of E-shifts required by staff is dependent on the department's individual needs. This service line hires RNs with the ADN and BSN (preferred) with a six to eight-week orientation to postpartum and 10-12 weeks orientation to their specialty area (birth center, NICU or pediatrics).
