Responsibilities:
Responsible for working closely with the Perinatal Director to assure 100% of the Perinatal Safety Initiatives are fully implemented, reporting monthly status to the Patient Safety and Clinical Risk Mgmt individual in the system office (after approval of the Perinatal Director/Manager). Reviews charts and processes to evaluate compliance with each of the Perinatal Safety Initiatives. Supports the Perinatal Director/Manager in the roll out of the pending three year Perinatal Safety Goal results. Attends the monthly Perinatal Safety Improvement Coalition (PSIC), conference calls with their Perinatal Director/Manager.
Qualifications:
5 Years of Labor and Delivery Nursing Progressive Leadership Roles such as charge nurse or educator experience preferred. Basic Life Support Advanced Cardiac Life Support Neonatal Resusitation Current California Registered Nurse License. NCC Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certificate.
