Overview

Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem is seeking a full-time night shift Women's Unit RN to serve as a leader of the healthcare team by establishing an authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their support system.

Women's Unit specific information:

The Women's unit takes care of high risk Antepartum and Postpartum patients as well as GYN surgeries. Patients are admitted to this unit should they require specialized in hospital care for themselves and baby prior to delivery and postpartum. Experience with electronic fetal monitoring, postpartum Magnesium drips, vaginal deliveries less than 20 weeks gestation and GYN surgical is preferred but will consider candidates without experience if passionate about Women's Health!

This unit has great teamwork, self-scheduling and great partnership with our interdisciplinary team of nurses, CNAs, MURs, Hospitalists, MFMs, social workers, and lactation consultants.

Schedule:

This is a FT, 36 hour per week night shift position. The hours are 7P-7A, including rotating weekends and a holiday rotation team, plus some call as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
  • Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
