Facilitates the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. Performs assigned Unit Secretary and Nurse Tech and other assigned duties in the Women's Services area.
Reports to: Director Women's Services/Labor & Delivery
Minimum Education
Graduate of a Program in Discipline (LPN) - Required
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Computer proficiency required.
Required Skills
Certifications:
BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required to be current upon hire.
Required Skills
Licenses:
State of Tennessee or Multi-State LPN licensure - Required. Proof of certification in IV therapy as mandated by the State of TN (ref: Chapter 1000-02 - .15 LPN Scope of Practice) - Preferred
Minimum Work Experience
1 year Surgical Services nursing/scrub tech experience - Preferred
