This is a part time (0.2 - 0.4 Status), day shift Registered Nurse position in the Women's & Children's Nurse Float Pool.
The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care of patients from admission to department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in clinical setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. The RN is knowledgeable in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents. Manages patient loads in assigned timelines.
Minimum Required: RN License required. BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire and ACLS within six (6) months of hire. Must have one (1) year of Acute Care experience. Proficient in English, verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills required.
Preferred/Desired: BSN Preferred. Prefer two (2) to five (5) years of Acute Care experience.
Weekend Requirements: Every 3rd weekend.
