Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking a highly skilled, compassionate Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to serve as a Key member of our Neonatal Intensive Care Department.In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to Riverside Community Hospitals vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

What you will do in this role:
  • You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize and deliver high quality, patient-centered care
  • You will supervise personnel providing direct patient care and delegate activities based on patient care needs
  • You will support the achievement of internal/external benchmarks, accreditations and designations
  • You will ensure compliance with evidence-based practices that enhance patient experience and customer service
  • You will assist with staff scheduling
  • You will provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff


What qualifications you will need:
  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing (Within 2yrs of hire)
  • 5+ years applicable clinical nursing experience
  • 2+ years in a lead role with demonstrated leadership and management proficiency preferred
  • Current Nevada Registered Nurse License
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
  • Current NRP required
