Summary
The Charge Registered Nurse / RN is a professional nurse who coordinates the delivery of nursing care. The Charge Registered Nurse / RN participates in patient and family teaching, Charge Registered Nurse / RN provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards of professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Aligned with Nursing Unit Leadership, the Charge Registered Nurse / RN coordinates the delivery of nursing care and provides leadership by working cooperatively with medical, ancillary and support staff in maintaining standards of professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
Education
Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Masters degree)
Experience
Required: 1 year RN experience.
Certifications
Required: Must be currently licensed Registered Nurse / RN, certified or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy. BLS
