As part of the Elite Nursing Resource Float Pool, Registered Nurses deliver professional nursing care to age-specific patients on the Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU). Follows the Board of Nursing's (BON) Standards of Nursing Practice utilizing the nursing process in care delivery. Maintains accountability for professional decisions and actions within the parameters of their legal scope of practice and in accordance with the federal, state, and local laws; rules and regulations; and policies, procedures and guidelines of Medical City Healthcare. Education / License / Certifications:

• BSN required within 24 months of hire
• Current Texas RN License
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS and NRP issued by the American Heart Association required
• Specialty certification in High Risk Neonatal Nursing preferred.
• Professional Nursing Organization Membership strongly encouraged.Experience:
  • Minimum 18 months experience within an acute care hospital with a minimum one year in a specialty area.Special Demands:Designated facilities in the EAST POD:
