RN Post Partum (New Grads are Welcomed)

We support not only women in our culturally diverse community, but also support women across the state whom may need additional attention due to a high risk pregnancy or fetal diagnosis. With our partnership with the University of MN, the Birthplace supports the development of student nurses and residents through onsite observation and training. This addition also helps continue to improve our evidence based practice and ongoing professional learning! Newborn Family Care Center-Postpartum:24 beds Mom/Baby private roomsCouplet Care, average of 3 couplets day/evening shift, 4 couplets night shift.Care delivery team: RN and NST/NA. Responsibilities/Job Description:
Provides postpartum care for the newly delivered mother and her newborn infant. Manages complex medication and infusion therapiesPerforms advanced monitoring using current technologyCare for patient undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures/interventions on the unit.Demonstrates ability to safely and accurately operate unit equipment.

Qualifications:
Required:MN RN licenseBLS for healthcare providersPreferred:BSN One year current Postpartum or Nursery experience.NRP certification
