The Anna Jaques Hospital Registered Nurse is an active participant in the health care team who provides direct and indirect care to patients/ families/ significant others, utilizing the components of the nursing process in accordance with the philosophy, objectives, value and mission behaviors of the of the patient care division.

Job Description:

Registered Nurse - 24 hrs/wk, 3-11

The Birth Center at Anna Jaques Hospital is a 12 bed, LDRP unit serving Newburyport and the surrounding Merrimack Valley. We offer private patient rooms with state of the art technology, working closely with all disciplines and including our relationship with Beth Israel Lahey Health. We have 24/7 obstetrics and anesthesia coverage with a nursing staff of 45. We are a Baby Friendly Designated hospital with a strong focus on patient experience.

The Birth Center Nurse supports the care of mothers and newborns. OB experience strongly preferred. Current Massachusetts Nursing Licensure required, with BSN prepared nurses preferred. Current BLS and NRP required within six-weeks of hire
