Responsibilities:
Utilizes the nursing process to develop and implement a comprehensive, age-appropriate plan of care for the perinatal patient and family which promotes optimal patient outcomes.Meets the educational and informational needs of the perinatal patient and family, utilizing appropriate principles of teaching/learning.Promotes safe, efficient, family-centered care to perinatal patients.Participates in performance improvement and professional development activities.

Qualifications:
One of the following: Licensed RN - MO, Registered Nurse Multistate License Missouri required upon hireOne of the following: Licensed RN - Kansas, Registered Nurse Multistate License Kansas required upon hireRN Compact license for all states besides KS and MOEmployees must obtain Licensed RN - Kansas or equivalent within 90 daysRefer to Nursing and Advanced Practice Provider Licensure and Certification policy for required Life Support Certifications Required Upon HireSpecialty Nursing Certification encouraged for all eligible nurses Preferred2+ years of high-risk Labor & Delivery experience preferred

Starting Pay:
Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $29.38/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

Remote Work/Work from Home:
This position is not eligible work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children's Mercy locations and may not work from home.
