Responsibilities

What You'll Do

The Registered Nurse—Labor and Delivery is responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

The successful candidate will be able to:
  • Coordinate all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards
  • Collaborating with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes 
  • Contributing to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care
  • Collect patient's health data
  • Analyze assessment data in determining patient problems 
  • Identify expected outcomes individualized to the patient
  • Develop a comprehensive plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain expected outcomes
  • Implement interventions identified in the plan of care
  • Evaluate patient's progress toward attainment of outcomes
  • Assist with the plan of care, evaluate, modify and coordinate

Qualifications

  • Experience Preferred (at least 1.5 years L&D OR 2-3 years of ICU/ED)
  • Valid RN Oklahoma license
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program - Associates degree minimum
  • BLS, ACLS, NRP
