Embry Women's Health is currently seeking a candidate for a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner in our Mesa, Arizona location. Candidates should be passionate about women's health and have a strong focus on optimal patient care.

We are looking for a provider who is eager to teach patients how to feel better in a private practice setting. Experience in gynecology and women's health required. We are interested in full-time applicants who are available immediately for work. We are flexible with scheduling!

Embry Women's Health provides services in all aspects of women's healthcare. We are looking for a seasoned individual that has a working knowledge in general and specialized areas of women's health. Some services include wellness exams, birth control, comprehensive contraceptive counseling, testing, and treatment of sexually transmitted infections. In addition, we focus on endocrine problems such as PCOS, Thyroid, as well as treating patients in early pregnancy up to 24 weeks, and endometriosis. We also specialize in Hormone Replacement Therapy, including bio identical hormones and Biote pellet therapy.

Responsibilities:
Participates in clinic efforts to achieve established goals for productivity.
Adheres to practice policies on professionalism, wait time in-clinic, on the phone, and the system for addressing client concerns.
Participates in health center/affiliate efforts to achieve established revenue cycle goals.
Accepts individual responsibility for and works jointly with the Practice Manager to achieve:
  • Compliant medical policies and standards.
  • Customer satisfaction, client access, client retention, and clinical outcomes standards.
  • Appropriate and adequate documentation of patient records. Comprehensive knowledge working with EMR system is mandatory.


Performs appropriate medical screening and procedures including, but not limited to, breast and pelvic examination, endometrial biopsies, vulvar biopsies, colposcopy, and implant insertions including Nexplanon and IUD insertions. Interprets laboratory data and orders appropriate follow up testing and referrals when indicated.

Must be proficient in OB care and genetic testing and counseling. Provides unbiased objective information and referrals when need on abortion, adoption, and parenting when requested by patient.

Assists with training of staff in clinical standards, environmental maintenance, and health education. Maintains emergency response supplies and materials.

Participates in in-service educational activities of the agency, including quarterly clinician meetings.

Demonstrates flexibility and teamwork; understands the interaction between this position and others with whom this position works directly and indirectly. Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and commitment to patient care is required.

Qualifications:

Current Arizona Advanced Practice Nursing license (specialty training as a Women's Healthcare Nurse Practitioner is preferred)
    • OB/GYN experience required.
    • Bilingual a plus.

    A strong personal commitment to and an ability to communicate about the goals and philosophy of Embry Women's Health is essential.
