What you need to know:
- 13 week assignment minimum (open to extension)
- DAY shift 7pm - 7:30am
- Three 12's each week
- Manager will call directly to interview within 72 hours
- 2+ years of L&D experience requiredJob Duties:
- Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care
- Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family
- Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team
- Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutionsJob Skills:
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnelEducation:1. BSN preferred
2. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
3. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans
4. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services
5. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.Certifications/Licenses Required:
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
- ALCS - AHA
- BLS - AHA
- RN
- TNCC
