Logan Health Obstetrics department, as part of Logan Health Children’s,  is searching for nurses to join a dynamic team caring for pregnant women and their families. As a nurse in the OB department you will care for antepartum, laboring, and postpartum mothers and their newborns. You will learn to circulate in the OR for cesarean sections and will be supported by department specific OB surgical technicians.

Logan Health OB department delivers more than 650 babies per year and is the primary high risk delivery site for Northwest Montana providing care for low and high risk mothers. Logan Health Children’s provides a Level 3 NICU to attend to the needs of babies needing a higher level of care post-delivery. Also as a teaching facility for nursing and medical providers, you will have the opportunity to provide advanced services while growing the next generation of caregivers. Experience is preferred but we are open to training someone with a passion to care for women and their babies.

Relocate to Montana for this position and receive up to $12,500. This job is eligible for the CARE in Montana Program, which reimburses you for relocation expenses. Qualifications:

  • Current Montana RN license or a multi state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required.  BSN degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in similar position within a medical setting (eg, physician office, clinic, or hospital) preferred.  Experience in assigned area(s) preferred.
  • Possess knowledge of professional nursing theory, medical terminology and principles of professional nursing practice to administer and evaluate patient care.  
  • Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR and/or BLS certification required as dictated by each practice/service line.
  • Additional certifications may be required as applicable to assigned area(s).
