    Job Description:

    Qualifications:

    Completion of an accredited degree program in Nursing. Baccalaureate degree in Nursing strongly preferred. Two (2) years experience in area of specialty preferred at 0.8 FTE, or above (minimum of 3328 hours).

    Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota

    CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers

    Knowledge of current nursing practices and techniques

    Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing

    Ability to effectively participate on an interdisciplinary treatment team

    Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with patients, family members and co-workers

    Additional Information:

    This is a primary charge nurse position for the postpartum and NICU units. Does include regularly scheduled shifts on the floor (either postpartum or NICU) as well as charge nurse shifts.
