Surgical Technician - Labor & Delivery - Operating Room Tech (ORT) On-Call Nights

Responsibilities:
Position Overview:The Labor & Deliver (L&D) Operating Room Technician is responsible for maintaining the L&D operatingrooms, creating and maintaining a sterile field during surgical procedures, assisting with maintaining theenvironment and equipment in L&D, entering surgical data from the perioperative report into the electronicrecord, and completing patient charges for surgical patients.

Qualifications:
Required:High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)Graduate from surgical technologist school; or one (1) year of previous surgical technician experienceCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) CertificationBasic computer skillsMust be able to answer call and report to site within 30 minutesPreferred:Operating Room Technician (ORT) CertificationPrevious hospital experienceBilingual in English and Spanish
