To provide diagnostic services in a hospital and/or clinical setting, to include clerical duties as required. To perform all duties in a manner which promotes team concepts and reflects the KPNW Mission and philosophy.

Essential Functions:
- Performing diagnostic procedures, using knowledge, skills and abilities required for age of patient served to include: Routine, emergent, portable, surgical examinations in accordance with department policies and procedures.
- Communication with Perinatologist.
- Assist with patient needs.
- File work. Restocking supplies/cleaning. Quality Assurance functions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:

Experience

• One (1) year of recent experience (within the last five (5) years) in a high risk OB department.

Education

• A minimum two (2) year AMA approved program to include ARRT certification, state licensure and successful completion of one (1) year ultrasound training and certification, OR a minimum two (2) years of experience in allied health AND successful completion and certification of two (2) year ARDMS program OR successful completion of an AMA accredited Ultrasound program and ARDMS registered.

• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

Licenses, Certifications, Registrations

• Board of Medical Imaging License in state where assigned.

• ARDMS Registry in OB/GYN.

• NT Certification to be obtained within ninety (90) days of hire.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required within thirty (30) days of hire/transfer.

• N/A.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Nuchal Translucency Certification preferred.

• High Risk Obstetrical Ultrasound preferred.

• Understanding of Perinatology Services, Workflows, and Special Procedures including various interventional protocols preferred.

• Organizational skills, time management, prioritization, planning; attention to detail; problem solving, decision making, judgment; technical skills; initiative; communication, interpersonal skills, customer relations, organizational relations preferred.

• Adaptability; following policies and procedures; flexibility preferred.

• Able to work unsupervised and perform exams independently and confidently preferred.
