*This unit offers a potential of up to $30,000 sign-on bonus* UNIT SUMMARY: The Labor & Delivery unit is a 20 bed unit includes 3 triage rooms, 7 LDRs, 2 ORs, 3 PACU bays and 5 observation beds; high risk obstetrical unit with access to Level III+ NICU; 12 hour (A/P) shifts; 4-week rotating master cycle with oversight of scheduling coordinator; positions available include A/P (A-50% / P-50%) and straight P; 3 weekend shifts in 4 week cycle required; maximum of 16 hours on call with minimum 4 hours per 4 week cycle. JOB SUMMARY: Provides safe, age-appropriate patient care, and function as advisor, resource, for patients and their families as a member of the patient care team. REQUIREMENTS: Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field

(BSN) preferred from CCNE accredited schools

At least 1 year of L&D experience

Maryland Registered Nurse License

American Heart Association CPR Certification
