POSITION SUMMARY:

Do you love providing compassionate care to new families? At NMC Health, we're proud to set a 5-Star standard for healthcare, pride ourselves maintaining a lower than average nurse to patient ratios and your passion will go a long way as a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Family Birth Center. In this role and as a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide professional nursing care to patients including, but not necessarily all inclusive, the comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs, planning, coordination, teaching, counseling, and direct physical care. We're looking for a highly professional RN who is comfortable reassuring families, communicating with doctors, as well as, tending to the needs of his or her patients. This is for a full-time, dayshift (3:00AM-3:00PM) position.

As of 1/21/22, NMC Health requires all employees to be vaccinated unless a medical or religious exemption is needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and experience:
  • 6 months preferred but not required on L/D Unit.


Licensure, registration and certification:
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Kansas
  • Certification in CPR/Basic Life Support
  • Certification in Advance Cardiac Life Support
  • BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring course preferred
  • Additional certifications may be necessary, dependent on the unit assigned
