Job Title: Registered Nurse - NICU/PICU (Float Pool)
Location: Oakland, CA - 94609
Duration: 3 Months (Possibility of extension)
Shift time : Evening/Night (12x3)
Pay Range : $3780 - $3990/Week (all inclusive)

Essential Job Functions :
- Float to NICU and PICU and other units as required.
- Identify patients' care requirements, focus on their needs, and act on them .
- Nurture a compassionate environment by providing psychological support.
- Record details and symptoms of the patient medical history and current health.
- Administer medications, draw blood, and give childhood vaccinations following age-appropriate guidelines.
- Work with children and ask questions about their health for diagnosis and document patients' symptoms and medical history for the doctor.
- Assess a child's needs and provides initial care.
- Identify changes in children's symptoms and intervenes in emergency situations.
- Participate in pain management for children.
- Evaluate children for signs and symptoms of abuse.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
