Job Summary: Registered Nurses are responsible for providing nursing care to patients and their families in accordance with the American Nurse's Association Standards of Professional Nursing Practice. Provides primary nursing care for patients and assumes responsibility for other nursing care process by assessment, plan of care, intervention and evaluation.
Specifications: Must have and maintain current licensure in the State of Rhode Island. Maintains CPR and any other credentials or certifications necessary to be competent as a Registered Nurse in an area of specialty. Must be able to push stretchers, wheelchairs, carts of equipment (delivery equipment, IV pumps, fetal monitors) and unpack stock. Transport patients from bed to chair or to wheelchair. Must be proficient in the English language.
