Overview:
Midwife as a provider for Centering Pregnancy. Provide prenatal care in accordance with ACOG standards. Will work in group setting. Facilitator training required. Provides counseling and education to patients.No inpatient, no deliveriesUp to 10 hours a week, need to be flexible as each week will varyLocation is Jane H Booker Family Health Center1828 West Lake Ave.Neptune, NJ 07753Will need two (2) days of facility training

Qualifications:
Current New Jersey License as a Nurse MidwifeCertification as a Nurse Midwife, Advance Practice1 year experience in providing prenatal obstetrical careFluency in Spanish desirableAbility to be flexible with schedule of prenatal sessions

Responsibilities:
Provides obstetrical services to prenatal patients throughout pregnancyOrders lab work and tests in accordance with national standardsProvides education and support to prenatal patientsand families.Documents assessment and plan for each patient in accordance to approved standards.Works in a group setting, often with clients who do not speak the English language.Ensures appropriate language interpreter is present during obstetrical evaluation.
