Required Qualifications
- Graduate of nursing school.
- 1 Year clinical RN experience in an acute care setting
- California Registered Nurse (RN) - CA Board of Registered Nursing -REQUIRED
- AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association -REQUIRED
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - Various-Employee provides certificate -REQUIRED
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Completion or current enrollment in the Summer class of the Maternal Newborn Nursing course through UCSD Extension/ Regional Perinatal Systems.
- Will consider candidates that have completed the AWHONN POEP (Perinatal Orientation Education Program) in lieu of the Maternal Newborn Course.
