What You Will Do
This is a training position for an experienced nurse interested in transitioning to the OB/GYN Acute (post-partum) department.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing school.
• 1 Year clinical RN experience in an acute care setting
• California Registered Nurse (RN) - CA Board of Registered Nursing -REQUIRED
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association -REQUIRED
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - Various-Employee provides certificate -REQUIRED

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Completion or current enrollment in the Summer class of the Maternal Newborn Nursing course through UCSD Extension/ Regional Perinatal Systems.
• Will consider candidates that have completed the AWHONN POEP (Perinatal Orientation Education Program) in lieu of the Maternal Newborn Course.
