Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse Full-time Night Shift 7P 7A

Applying the standards set forth for nursing practice by the American Nurses Association (ANA), the Neonatal ICU RN will organize, modify, evaluate, document and maintain the plan of carefor pre- and post-obstetrical patients.

Plan, implement, revise and delegate nursing care

Perform necessary technical skills as delineated through education, expertise, and unit requirements

Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice

Our Level 3NICU is a 40-bed open unit with 4 private rooms and is equipped with state-of-the-art intensive care nursery technology. RNs care for neonates from 23 weeks gestation through full term infants with complex congenital abnormalities or systemic diseases.

Qualifications

What you need to be successful:
BSNrequired
Texas RN license or compact license is accepted

Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required

Current NRPandS.T.A.B.L.E.
