The ARRA Group, a boutique healthcare recruitment firm, has partnered with our hospital client to hire an RN Nurse Director, Women's & Children's Services to oversee the nursing staff responsible for Labor Deliver, Postpartum, NICU, PICU, and Children's Hospital.

This 700-bed Trauma Center has one of the largest Pediatric ICUs in New York State and delivers 8,000 babies annually. The RN Nurse Director, Maternal Child Health will make a big impact and drive systematic change in a large academic hospital.

Responsibilities
Lead and provide clinical and administrative oversight to 300+ FTES including unit RN Managers, Nurse Educators, APRNs, RNs and support staff. a 190-bed maternal child health service line;
Complete operational and financial oversight of Women's and Children's Service line which includes: Labor Delivery, Postpartum, NICU, PICU, Pediatrics, Pediatric Trauma Emergency Services
In collaboration with the medical, administrative and patient services leadership, you will develop short and long-term goals and objectives for the service line
Work with the CNO and Department Chair to evaluate, recommend and implement changes for maternal health department processes
Pursue cross-departmental collaboration to achieve successful implementation of patient care performance improvement (PI) activities
Actively oversee and participate in all departmental hiring, orientation, training, evaluation, and termination activities
Requirements
Master's Degree MSN from an accredited School of Nursing
Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York
8+ years of maternal child health nursing, 5+ in leadership/management
