The RN will be responsible for the triage of and treatment/patient care of the laboring and nonlaboring OB patient, including, but not limited to monitoring the laboring patient, assist with delivery of infant or infants, perform test ordered by OB-GYNs during pregnancy and communicate with OB-GYNs properly during patients' treatment. The RN will have experience with starting IVs and administering IV medication along with assisting anesthesia with pain management. The Registered Nurse will work as a team player within the unit, assisting nursery and postpartum when needed. Associate degree in Nursing with OB experience required.
