Job Description
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing, coordinating and directing individualized and comprehensive nursing care to all Family Birth Center patients including pre and post natal care of mother and baby. Care will be delivered based upon the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementing and evaluation.

This role will be required to perform as a circulating nurse for Cesarean deliveries. Will perform the role of scrub nurse within one year of hire.

Additionally, this position will provide care for gynecological surgical patients post procedure. And as part of the Harbor Regional Health Community Hospital family, may provide support to peers in other departments, as orientated.

Job Requirements:
  • Current Washington state RN license
  • Minimum two (2) years perinatal experience required
  • Scrub capabilities preferred
  • Charge nurse capabilities preferred
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • Current NRP Certification required - or must be obtained during the orientation period
