Responsibilities



Position Overview:

This position is accountable for providing and managing competent nursing care to the neonatal patient that requires moderate to complex assessments, interventions and level of nursing vigilance. The NICU RN is responsible for working in a team environment using a multidisciplinary approach to providing nursing care adapted to individual patient needs based on the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning implementation and evaluation.



Qualifications



Required:

Current CA RN LicenseAt least 2 years of recent full-time NICU experience in an acute care hospital or equivalentCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) CertificationCurrent Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
Preferred:

• Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN)
