Part of the University of Kentucky, this trauma level I medical center is eastern Kentucky's only level I trauma center and level IV NICU. , the hospital is committed to the pillars of academic health care-research, education and clinical care. Known as the Horse Capital of the World, you will find horse farm tours, Kentucky Horse Park, and racing facilities. Qualified NICU RNs will have 2 or more years level III or IV NICU experience; trauma level I experience; KY/compact license; plus BLS & NRP certifications.
