NMC is currently recruiting for a L&D RN in the Family Birth Center. This position is a full-time (72 hours bi-weekly) position, hours are 7p-7:30a, every other weekend. Call rotation.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Registered Nurse provides safe nursing care in a timely manner to patients on the assigned unit with a high degree of independence. Performs within the scope of a RN as defined by the Vermont State Board of Nursing.
PREREQUISITES:
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with current licensure as a RN in Vermont, BS preferred
Experience: Successful completion of FBC orientation and IV certification. Previous clinical experience in obstetrical, pediatric and neonatal nursing preferred. Intermediate/Advanced EFM course and NRP certification. PALS or proficiency/education in obstetric emergencies encouraged
Certifications Required: BLS required, NRP, PALS or proficiency/education in obstetrics emergencies encouraged
