Job Description
Weekly pay: $3,420 (36 hours)

• Travel: Travel pay will be a blended rate with housing/meal stipend included, if applicable

13 week Contract - ASAP Start Dates

Shift needed: 36hr nights, every other weekend and every other holiday

Job Summary:

Labor & Delivery Nurses, also called perinatal nurses, provide care and support for women before, during and after delivery of the baby. They are responsible for making sure that the medical as well as the emotional needs of the patient are adequately met throughout the entire birthing process.

Dept. Details: Department includes 9 labor rooms, 2 OR/Recovery Rooms, 5 triage rooms. Approx. 2600 deliveries each year.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• 2 recent years of L&D experience - CNM will not be considered
• Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips and identify heart blocks required
• NRP is required and all lessons have to be completed and must not expire during assignment. Evidence of completing Advanced Fetal Monitoring course, preferably AWHONN
• BLS certification required
• Dysrhythmia/Telemetry Interpretation Course preferred
• Valid Registered Nurse license in the applied state.
