Fertility Associates of Memphis is a state-of-the-art practice providing comprehensive and affordable reproductive health care to couples experiencing infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, and reproductive disorders. We are committed to providing compassionate and expert infertility care to our patients. Our highly trained team is fully dedicated to helping patients build families.

We currently have an immediate part-time opportunity for an experienced OB/GYN Sonographer to join our busy East Memphis practice.

Responsibilities Include:

• Works independently using extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology while performing thorough and accurate transvaginal ultrasound exams.
• Make necessary measurements and calculations during an exam.
• Assess ultrasound results to identify any abnormalities or conditions potentially requiring clinician follow-up.
• Properly document all findings, measurements, and information necessary to complete the exam.
• Possesses the ability to provide a pleasant experience for our patients while maintaining patient safety and patient confidentiality.
• Effectively communicates with patients and provides an explanation of the care supplied.
• Have the ability to operate and utilize equipment appropriately to complete tasks.
• Performs all job duties in compliance with federal and state laws while applying company policies and procedures.

Education: Completion of an accredited diagnostic medical sonographic program and RDMS certification in OB/GYN.

Requirements: Ability to work at a high level of independence. Maintain good interpersonal, organizational, and decision-making skills. Communicate effectively with the health care team and exhibit professionalism in all activities.
