A health services organization in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Women's Health Clinic in Manhattan.

Responsibilities:

The Women's Health Nurse (RN) will be responsible for:
  • Monitor, record and report symptoms and changes in patients' condition
  • Record patients' medical information and vital signs
  • Monitor inventory of medications and immunizations used at the Health Center
  • Order medications and immunizations, as needed
  • Evaluate and monitor all aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activity
  • Prepare patients for, and assist with, examinations and treatments
  • Educate individuals, families and other groups on topics such as their health conditions, disease prevention, proper medication use, and develop health improvement programs
  • Record patient health complaints and provide treatment per provider orders
  • Conduct specified point of care test, recording all results in electronic health record
  • Enter patient's data (chief complaints, surgical history, medical hospitalizations, family history, social history and list of medications) into the medical records.
  • Administer drugs, immunizations, medical devices or other forms of treatment, such as inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures as per Provider's order
  • Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in an OB/GYN and/or Women's Health setting
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Current NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • BLS certification
  • Infection Control certification
  • Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
  • Patient oriented
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized
  • Able to multitask efficiently and effectively
Desired Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
