RN Women's Inpatient/Couplet Care (32 Hours/Week/Night shift)/sign-on bonus up to $15,000

Summary
This 12-bed unit cares for women post-uro-gynecologic and gynecologic surgeries. In addition to the surgical population, the team also cares for female medical-surgical patients. Most patients are a 24 hour stay.

A 48-bed unit that cares for mom and baby post-delivery. We strive to keep mom and baby together as much as possible, as a couplet. We work closely with our patients to educate them on how to care for their new baby once they go home, focusing on fall prevention, breastfeeding, and infection prevention.

Job Description

Experienced BSN RN sign-on bonuses for external applicants only.

This position is located in Lancaster, Pa at Lancaster General Hospital
HOURS: Full Time 32 Hours/Week/Night Shift

JOB REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• RN licensure is required, issued by the PA State Board of Nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, if ASN, must agree to complete BSN or higher nursing degree within 2 years of RN hire date.
• American Heart Association CPR/BLS Certification required.
• If Applicable, New Graduate RNs will be required to complete the Nurse Residency Program.
• A health care provider in good standing with Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal and state health insurance programs, i.e. not excluded from participation in Medicare, Medicaid or any other federal or state health insurance program

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• As outlined in unit based Plan for Provision of Care.
