Women's Health office now accepting resumes for outpatient nurse practitioner for a full-time position. No call, nights, or weekends. Schedule can be very flexible according to your needs, though most providers are scheduled 9am-5pm Monday through Friday.

Our practice prides itself on excellent patient care and a team-based approach. The team includes a gynecologic surgeon and four nurse practitioners. Our surgeon specializes in minimally invasive surgeries including robotic assisted laparoscopy and in-office hysteroscopy. Our clinic is known for it's expertise in treatment of endometriosis, fibroids, PCOS, and breast cancer survivor gyn care. Nurse practitioners offer comprehensive contraception care, colposcopy, wellness visits, and managing common gynecology diagnoses. We also offer clinical research studies and have several active trials enrolling participants managed by a dedicated Research Coordinator. We also have a busy in-house ultrasound program managed by the MD and ultrasonographer.

Job functions include:
  • Work closely in a collaborative environment with MD and NPs and team of excellent medical assistants
  • Provide outpatient gynecologic care including annual and health maintenance exams as well as problem visits which may include STD checks, contraception, menopause, breast disease, AUB, etc. Procedures could include EMBs, IUD placements, Nexplanon placement, colposcopies etc. for interested/trained providers.
  • Telehealth visits scheduled every week (4-8 hours/week depending on volume)
  • Teaching of patients and staff as needed, as well as NP and PA students
  • Reviewing test results and working with staff to communicate to patients
  • Completing all medical records within an electronic medical record system

Requirements include:
  • Certified Nurse Practitioner License from NM Board of Nursing and Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
  • Unrestricted license and active DEA license
  • 1 year of women's health experience OR 2-5 years of primary care with emphasis on women's health
  • Ability to work autonomously with appropriate on- or off-site supervision/collaboration from MD
  • Positive, cheerful attitude with dedication to providing a comforting patient experience
  • Professional demeanor and dress
  • Experience with computers including electronic medical records, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Adobe PDF documents
  • Preference to bilingual/Spanish speaking candidates
