HCA\nHouston Healthcare Northwest is a 423-bed acute care hospital that has been\nserving the north Houston community for more than 40 years, providing a wide\nrange of medical services including cardiology, maternity care, neonatal\nintensive care, pediatrics, bariatrics and neurology.

HCA\nHouston Healthcare Northwest is affiliated with\nHCA Houston Healthcare, part of the HCA Healthcare Gulf Coast Division. The\ndivision is a comprehensive network of hospitals, outpatient surgery centers,\nemergency centers and diagnostic imaging facilities in greater Houston, Corpus\nChristi and South Texas. Facilities include 17 hospitals, nine ambulatory care\ncenters, 13 off-campus emergency centers, and a regional transfer center.
\n\n \n\nWhat you will do in this role:\n\n

• Collects and\n analyzes data in order to identify expected outcomes for the observation and \n medical/surgical patients
• Developing and\n prioritizes the plan of care to attain measurable goals
• Implements the\n interventions identified and evaluates the results, especially in relation\n to Critical Care patients (whichever applies).
• Identifies\n educational needs, implements and evaluates learning and documents\n patient/family education
• Demonstrates\n critical thought and judgment in the delivery of care related to Critical\n care patients
• Delivers\n medications based upon continual assessment, safety and evaluation of\n patient response

Qualifications
What qualification you will need:\n\n

• Bachelors\n of Science in Nursing is required
• Current\n RN license in Texas and/or current Compact License
• 1-year L&D experience required
• Current BCLS Certification Required
• Current ACLS and NRP Certifications Required
• AWHONN\n Fetal Monitoring course within 90 days of hire date
