Clinical Nurse (RN) -- Labor & Delivery
Put your nursing expertise to work at a Magnet-designated, university-affiliated hospital located just six blocks from Baltimore's Inner Harbor by joining the team on Mercy Medical Center's Labor & Delivery (L&D) Unit.
Our Clinical Nurses (RN) in L&D independently perform clinical care to patients. Working with a dedicated team, the RN provides evidence-based, high quality care in triage, ante-and immediate post-partum of the obstetrical patient and serves as a resource for other team members. Our Labor and Delivery Unit, part of the Family Childbirth and Children's Center at Mercy performs between 250-300 births per month.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
- A diploma/degree from an accredited nursing school (a Bachelor's degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, or agreement to enroll within six months of employment)
- A license (RN) to practice in Maryland or the ability to obtain a Maryland license based on timeframe of licensing board
- One - two years of clinical nursing experience is strongly preferred; new graduates with focused practicum or technician experience in L&D will be considered.
- Healthcare Provider-Level CPR certification; NRP within six months of hire/transfer.
