Raleigh General Hospital
Assists in assuring optimum patient care by delivering routine care for selected subacute and convalescent patients. Participates is planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care.
Performs data collection and obtains patient information.
Assists RN with patient care.
Intervenes with appropriate action after needs are identified.
Evaluates the assignment, planning and intervention process.
Demonstrates professional and personal development.
Delivers direct patient care appropriate to the age of patient served including the neonate/infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.
Reports to: Director of Women's and Children's Services
Job Requirements:
Minimum Education
Graduate of a Program in Discipline - Required
Graduate of LPN Program
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) - to be obtained within 30 days.
Required Licenses
[West Virginia, United States] Licensed Practical Nurse
Current licensure by WV LPN Board.
